Above the Clouds
Mountain Goats (Oreamnos americanus) are the quintessential Alpine animal. They are perfectly adapted to life above the timberline. Their thick coats, well-balanced anatomy, and splayed hooves provide them valuable tools for surviving the harsh life among the clouds. I titled this piece “Above the Clouds” to emphasize their ability to survive at altitudes above 10,000'.
This print is made from an original graphite pencil drawing of an American Bison by Rich Adams. It is printed on acid-free fine art paper with archival pigment inks and is available in three sizes as well as a notecard.
