Lower Falls of the Yellowstone
This drawing is of the Lower Falls of the Yellowstone in Yellowstone National Park. It is based on a photograph I took in 2001 and is my second drawing of the Falls. I chose a vertical approach to the falls to help focus the viewer's attention on the cascading water and to emphasize the triangular components in the composition.
The prints are made by the artist here in Missoula, Montana on acid-free fine art matte paper in three sizes and are also available as notecards.
